A governing document of a condominium corporation that regulates administration, meetings, board composition, and other operational matters consistent with the Condominium Act.
In plain language
Bylaws (often written “by-laws” in older documents) sit below the declaration in the hierarchy of condo documents. They typically cover board structure, meeting procedures, notice requirements, and administrative details.
Amending a bylaw usually requires an owners’ vote at a properly called meeting with sufficient notice. Bylaws cannot contradict the Act or declaration.
